WHY USE A PERSONAL
TRAINER?
The list of mistakes people make when
training by themselves is endless:
· · Incorrect
technique
· · Incorrect weight load
· · Incorrect training
combination
· · Incorrect frequency of training
Even
experienced people who train by themselves commonly lose
direction
in their routine. We possess the knowledge to be able to help you
control your training with different techniques. The key to our
programs is progressive, targeted variation.
BENEFITS OF PERSONAL
TRAINING
We
understand that for you time is precious. Our trainers provide
professional and flexible custom training programs designed to help
you get the most out of the limited time you have for
your training sessions. All our trainers have experience
training people at all skill levels so whether you're looking to
just lose weight or improve stamina we can help. Our tailor made
programs include cardiovascular weight loss, strength and functional
training.
CARDIO
VASCULLAR WEIGHT LOSS
Most
people who want to use a personal trainer have one aim in mind: "I
want to lose weight". Our aim is not just to help you shed pounds
but improve your fitness, and health over the long term. We'll
analyze your diet, gently improve your fitness stamina and ensure
that you stay motivated. Diets can only work short term but if you
combine them with a personalized exercise program then the results
will be more dramatic and you'll get them faster.
STRENGTH TRAINING
Strength Training is when you perform exercises with
resistance to build muscle strength. Strength training is like
weight lifting. But you don't have to get bulky muscles - if you
don't want to! You can shape and sculpt your muscles to make your
body look the way you want! Why does strength training work better
than aerobics for getting fit and losing fat? Because the more
muscles you have on your body, the higher your metabolism rate, and
the more calories you burn! If you are over 30 years old and are not
strength training, you are burning up to 700 fewer calories each
month!
FUNCTIONAL
TRAINING
Being functionally fit means being able to perform daily
tasks with ease. Getting out of a bed or chair, dressing, bathing,
cooking and many other daily tasks are all things one can do when
you are functionally fit. Functional fitness is determined by the
body's core strength, which is what helps you keep your balance and
stand up straight. As an older adult, functional fitness is the key
to your quality of life. Personal Training will assist you to
improve posture, balance, agility, strength, and power. Additional
benefits include:
· Improving posture by strengthening the abdominals,
back, buttocks, and torso muscles. These muscles are referred to as
the stabilizer muscles.
· By developing strength in all planes of movement, the
risk of injury will decrease. Regular sit-ups and crunches will not
train these muscles effectively.
All
populations and age groups can benefit from these techniques. In
addition to your standard exercise program of cardiovascular,
strength, and flexibility, core stabilization should be a part of
your exercise routine.
